From communicating with our families and schools to maintaining the integrity of our database, our Program Associates are the reason The BASIC Fund has been able to effectively support more than 23,000 students at 400 schools over the past 20 years. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Family and School Support
School and Family questions and support
Database entry and processing new applications and renewals
Phone, email, fax and mail inquiries
School retention and achievement data gathering
Excel reporting and data manipulation
Administrative support including mailing, filing and scanning
Program and office events planning
Social media and website updates and support
Other responsibilities and projects may be assigned on an as-needed basis. This job description is subject to change based on organizational priorities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bilingual (English / Spanish)
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
3+ years work experience in an office environment
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, and strong Excel and data entry skills
Outstanding attention to detail, communication and organizational abilities
Data management and reporting experience a plus
Experience with Salesforce a plus
Ability and willingness to work with a close-knit team and wear multiple hats
