We are now accepting Applications for the 2018-2019 Waitlist only. Please continue to apply. The BASIC Fund will award scholarships periodically through the summer of 2018 if funds become available.

Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first served basis starting in January 2018 until the DEADLINE of March 16th. The earlier you apply the better your chances of receiving a scholarship! If funds are not available when we receive your complete application, we will place your application on a wait-list. We will award periodically through the summer of 2018 if funds become available. If you are currently enrolled in our program and looking for information on renewing your scholarship for the 2018-2019 School Year, you will receive renewal paperwork from your school by mid-March 2018. Please note, renewing families that are applying for a new sibling, must submit a new application by the March 16th deadline.


Congratulations on making a great choice in your child's education! There are two ways to apply for a BASIC Fund Scholarship: 

1. Choose the school which best suites your needs (or use the school finder) and ask them about their procedure to enroll BASIC Fund students.

Families interested in the schools below, must apply directly through the school before The BASIC Fund deadline of March 16th.

2. If you aren't sure which school you’d like to apply to, you can apply directly to The BASIC Fund by downloading an application at the bottom of this page and sending it (mail or fax) along with your complete financial documentation.

Please Note: You must submit a complete 2018 Application. If any part of the application or financial documentation is incomplete, the BASIC Fund will return your application in its entirety. The BASIC Fund does not keep copies of incomplete applications or documents.

Participating families are required to contribute to their children’s education and are therefore responsible for costs not covered by the scholarship. The family must pay the remaining tuition balance which will be at least $500 for each school year but may be more.

Scholarships are renewable annually through the 8th grade provided that the family keeps up their portion of the tuition payments, the family remains financially eligible, and the child remains enrolled in an accredited private school.

Starting in the 2018-2019 School Year, scholarships will be for a maximum of $2,000 annually per student.


2018 CALENDAR

Here are the general deadlines you need to know for your BASIC Fund scholarship: 

January - New student application available. 

March 16th - Deadline for new student application. 

Mid-March - Renewal packages for returning student’s distributed via your school. 

April 20th – Renewal deadline for renewing students.
